ABOUT ME
I am OLHA HARMASH and I will be happy to become your Interior Designer
I was born in Ukraine in the city of Kharkiv. After leaving school in 2003, I entered the Academy of Culture and received a higher education in the field of international information technology. I also have some experience in the area of hairdressing and I worked as a hairdresser- stylist and made women’s lives brighter and more stylish.
I have always been drawn to beauty, and in 2013, together with my colleagues, I started my first project in the field of interior design. From them, I received invaluable experience and practice in this area. And it was further motivation for me to enter the Academy of Design and Arts. I was so fascinated by the endlessly beautiful and amazing world of interiors, in which it is possible to gain enough knowledge, since progress does not stand still and every second something amazing happens in the world of design, which again and again immerses me in the inexhaustible world of style and wealth, beauty and restraint, creativity and progress. And my task as an interior designer is to immerse you in this world!
At the end of 2022, I moved to the Netherlands, where I opened my company GARMASH DESIGN in January 2024 and would be glad to become your designer!

Customer-discovery
The first and most important thing in a designer’s work is to hear you, to determine your main request and true expectation from the future space. You need to understand and feel how the customer lives, how he/she thinks, what inspires him/she, to grasp how he/she himself/herself defines beauty and comfort.
Art in a designer’s work begins with the ability to ask and listen.
I ask my customers questions not only about the purpose of the room, but also about their rhythm of life, family, hobbies, interests and preferences. Most often, I create a mix using different interior styles.
I combine materials to get what is called an individual interior for a person, in which there is a place for history and know-how. The second is trust! It is important for me to feel that my opinion, experience and competence are not in doubt. Only then you can begin. The third step is the “first fitting”. I start to develop the design concept. I make a selection of photographs of objects that convey the essence, feelings and mood of our future interior. This is how design ideas and solutions are formed.
Desing development
Using creative technical knowledge, I give shape to the future project, determine its character and conceptual solution, and select design elements.
On my design path, there are always collaborations with various professional designers and architects of Ukraine, which allows me to take on a project of any complexity.
These people are creative and young, and at every stage of the project we involve common efforts and knowledge so that I can provide the necessary technical guidance project.
I always start with planning and zoning the space, the functions of the room.
Next, I focus on the appearance of each room. At this stage, I use appliances, furniture, as well as any smart components of the house.
Technical documentation
Technical documentation is a full-fledged design project, executed in the form of construction drawings. Using this set, any qualified construction team will be able to carry out a complete renovation of your apartment without any additional instructions from you.
